Following a brutal shooting incident in Tarlac last Sunday, a video of inmates singing a KPOP hit song 'I don't care' by girl group 2NE1, made a trend on social media.

The uploader claimed that the inmates are waiting to welcome police officer Jonel Nuezca, who earlier charged by double murder by killing a 52 year-old Sonya Gregorio and 25 year-old Frank Anthony Gregorio.

Sonya Gregorio was heard singing the line of the song before a fatal shooting after Nuezca's daughter told the older woman that her father is a policeman during a verbal tussle in Paniqui, Tarlac.

2NE1 was among topics that trended on social media following the incident, along with other hashtags such as #StopTheKillingPH, #EndPoliceBrutality and #JusticeForGregorioFamily.

It is unclear where or when the video was uploaded, as the uploader is based in Cavite, according to profile.

The video has been viewed more than two million times since it was uploaded, with over 100,000 reactions and 174,000 shares on the social media platform.

While many are urging against making light of the incident, some have decided to use the KPOP song to discuss the brutal incident.

Some, for instance, noted how the incident has forever changed the meaning of the song, which was first released in 2010.
