Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez on Thursday admitted he got hurt over allegations of overpricing coronavirus vaccines.

At a government’s Laging Handa briefing, Galvez was asked for reaction on the call made by Akbayan Chair Emeritus Etta Rosales, urging hom for resignation over speculations on vaccine procurement.

Galvez said while he respected Rosales’s claims, she should not be make any judgments since she is not privy with ongoing country’s negotiations and pharmaceutical companies around the globe.

'yun po ay kasunduan lahat ng manufacturers that they will provide access to poor countries like us," he said.

Senate President Vicente Sotto said that he saw the documents of vaccine negotiations that involved non-disclosure agreements.

Lawmakers earlier questioned the government’s non-disclosure of the price cap on vaccines.

Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte tasked Galvez to disclose the vaccine deal details to Sotto.

Galvez said the country could lose 148 million vaccine doses if he violates the agreements signed with the drugmakers.
