Rep. Ramon “Jolo” Revilla of first district and Rep. Lani Mercado- Revilla of second district of Cavite are aiming to continue the Revilla line in position.

Mercado filed her candidacy hoping to continue the improvement of the welfare of their people.

Rep. Jolo promised to push quality education, better health and jobs, and infrastructure in his district.

With the long list of actors turned politicians, the Revilla clan has been in the political landscape as early as 1992.

The long line of Revillas can be traced from Sen Revilla’s father to his sisters.

Mercado has been in the office as a congresswoman since 2010, she won as city mayor in Cavite last 2016, and was re-elected as congresswoman in 2022.

Rep. Revilla is vying for his second term in office in the 2025 elections.

This October 7, Sen. Revilla is aiming to file his COC for reelection in the senate.

He started his political career in 1995 as vice-governor in Cavite and was re-elected to the Senate in 2019 after being detained for the government’s plunder charge against him.

According to the Commission on Election (COMELEC), there are an expected 68 million registered voters for the 2025 elections.
