The partnership with Petron Corporation and Petron Foundation, Inc. will focus on advancing education through key advocacy programs, including the Tulong Aral ng Petron (TAP) Elementary and High School Assistance Program, Petron School, and Brigada Eskwela.
These initiatives aim to provide educational assistance, improve school facilities, and engage communities in supporting local schools.
This collaboration reflects DepEd's commitment to improving educational opportunities for students across the country.
Additionally, the collaboration with REAP will deliver professional development modules certified by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).
Designed to enhance teachers' skills and boost their confidence, these modules seek to improve overall performance, productivity, and morale, thereby contributing to broader societal and national development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Education Secretary Sonny Angara, Petron representative Cecille L. Ang, and REAP President Atty. Dominador Buhain, highlighting the collaborative efforts between these organizations.
These partnerships underscore DepEd's commitment to addressing current educational challenges and fostering growth by ensuring robust support for both students and educators across the Philippines.
