UP KEM SNCEC Invites Speakers, Partner Companies
University of the Philippines Chemical Engineering Society, Inc. (UP KEM) proudly announces the awaited speakers and participating companies for the Students’ National Chemical Engineering Conference (SNCEC) to be held on November 16 and 17, 2024.
On Saturday, November 16, UP KEM SNCEC will conduct the National Chemical Engineering Symposium (NACHES) and the most prestigious mixer night, the Students’ Chemical Engineering Networking Event (SCENE).
With the theme of “Packing Possibilities”, NACHES will hold its symposium from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. UPKEM introduces Engineer Joanne Claire Badonero Paring as the morning speaker of the national symposium. Engr. Paring is a senior engineer in the packaging sustainability and waste industry and a coach at the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers - Technical Working Group on Holistic Sustainability (PIChE TWG-HS).
In the afternoon, NACHES welcomes Product Specialist Mary Chris Borcione Lacanilao, the current project specialist in product management, development, support, system configuration, and packaging bill-of-material creation. Her expertise assisted the global industry through product developmental support for North American, Latin American, and Caribbean Markets.
UPKEM SCENE reveals six renowned corporations in the chemical engineering industry. The most awaited dinner mixer opens opportunities for students and allows attendees to get to know the company through their company representatives.
