MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate representing Manila, Alexandra Abdon, reacts to backlash received after her Wowowin guesting on Friday, December 18.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday night, Abdon wrote: "Ako? Eto. Lowkey chill lang. Forever unbothered. Mananatiling kalmado."

She also clarifies that the banters were 'scripted' and she is just doing her job.

“Napagutusan lang po. Just doing my job,” Miss Manila replied in one of the netizens asking why is she looking down at those leaving in the squatters.

Recently, the 25-year-old beauty queen has been bashed online particularly on Twitter and Facebook after her encounter with Herlene Budol or widely known as Hipon Girl Herlene during Wowowin's Tutok to Win segment.

The video of their heated conversation went viral on social media—with the Abdon allegedly making “offensive jokes” to the tv host, branding the latter as "squammy” and “iskwater”.

Meanwhile, Willie Revillame on Monday asks netizens to stop bashing Abdon as the two already reconciled after the episode was aired.

“Iki-clear ko lang, si Hipon ho saka si Miss Manila, Hindi ho magkaaway 'yon. Nagkaayos na ho 'yon, he said. "Ganun lang ho naman. Nagkakabiruan sila pero ang akala… kawawa naman si Miss Manila, huwag niyo naman i-bash."

"Sa totoo lang, mabait na bata, e. Kumakain kami, tahimik siya," he added.
