Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque firmly refused to name the local government official President Rodrigo Duterte called out due to “indecency” and “inefficiency.”

“I will leave it at what the President said. As I said, I’m only a spokesperson, I cannot rise above my source, the President is my source,” Roque said in a briefing.

Roque added that it is up to the president if he will name the recipient of his recent tirades.

Meanwhile, as rumors continue to rise that Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is Duterte’s subject in his call out, Roque denied the issue, saying that he heard “no criticisms from Duterte.”

“Wala po akong narinig na pagbabatikos laban kay Mayor Isko na nanggaling sa bibig ni Presidente,” Roque stated.

The spokesperson’s statement was a response to Makabayan bloc’s claim that Moreno is seen as a threat to Duterte, as the mayor recently topped presidential bets polls for the upcoming 2022 National Elections.

Recently, Duterte said that a local government official has a “call boy training” as he was seen posing for lewd photos during his acting career.
