Blacklist International proved that their Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 7 run was not a fluke as they worked their way up in the ranks again as they defeat Omega and Onic in the last day of MPL PH season 8 playoffs.

BLCK becomes the second team in the history of MPL PH to have a back to back championship title, second to Sunsparks(known today as Echo Philippines).

Game 1 early game was on the side of Onic Ph but after a clash occured at the 15 minute mark, Blacklist turned around the tides of the battle with Salic "Hadji" Imam's Yve and went to finish the game with team score of 18-9.

"May pera na akong pambili ng mga bagay na 'di ko kailangan pero masaya ako 'pag binili ko," said Danerie "Wise" James of BLCK.

Game 2 heavily favored the side of Onic led by Marky "Markyyyyy" Capacio's Natan pick to tie up the series with a 16-14 win.

Blacklist still had an ace up their sleeves as they unleashed Wise's Bane jungle pick in Game 3 capturing objectives and eventually finishing the game in 14 minutes, 2-1.

Hadji, the newest addition to the reigning champions, proved his worth to be in the team as he moved Blacklist one match closer to the title in Game 4 with his Chou, picking off Onic heroes one by one and finishing the game in under 12 minutes with a 17 to nothing team score, 3-1.

“Sobrang napakaimportante nitong championship na ‘to kasi nahihirapan kaming kunin yung respect na deserve ng players ko, yung respect na deserve namin,” said veteran Blacklist coach Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza.

This is Onic Philippines' 3rd finals appearance and the 3rd time they botched an attempt to capture their elusvie title.

Blacklist needed to defeat their rivals first, Omega Esports, in the Lower Bracket Finals in an intense best-of-five where the former managed to pull of the victory, 3-1.

Mark "Eson" Gerardo becomes the first professional player to bag three titles, while 2nd for Wise, Bon Chan, Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna, Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap, Kiel "OHEB" Soriano, and Dexter "DEX STAR" Alaba. For Hadji, on the other hand, is his first ever title since MPL Season 2.

Both teams, along with Omega Esports, Nexplay Evos, Echo Philippines and Resurgence Philippines, will represent PH for the upcoming MPL Invitational on November. Blacklist and Onic also book a ticket to the M3 World Championships.
