The "King Slayers" RSG PH overwhelmed the M2 World Champions Bren Esports to continue their hot streak as Blacklist International clinched their much-needed win against Nexplay Evos to keep their playoff dreams alive in the MPL-PH Season 9 Week 6.

Clarense “Kousei” Camilo acquired a 7/0/3 KDA with his Beatrix while Kenneth “Kenji” Villa's Dyrroth provided four kills and five assists with just a single death in their Season 9 debut, helping RSG to a 15-15 victory against Bren.

RSG continued their early game aggression in Game 2 with Kousei putting up 7/2/3 with his Beatrix and Kenji with 5 assists and a single death in his Exp Lane Hylos to seal the sweep.

RSG improved their record to 7-2 to tie with TNC in the second seed who has a 6-3 standing with 19 points each.

RSG PH will face Omega Esports on Saturday, at 8:00 PM, while Bren Esports needs to win against Onic PH also on Saturday at 6:00 PM to keep itself alive for the rest of the season.

On the other hand, Mark Jayson "Eson" Gerardo's return to Blacklist's main five prove to be effective against Nexplay as he delivered a spectacular performance with the recently buffed Grock along with Kent Xavier "Kevier" Lopez's Karina to bag Game 1.

NXPE punished Kevier's Jungle Hylos in Game 2 with Renejay " RENEJAY" Barcase's Jawhead assisting their jungler Michael “MP the King” Endino's Karina to force Game 3.

Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's Esmeralda and Eson's Tank Ruby lifted BLCK in the winner-take-all game, providing the necessary sustain and soaking up the damage coming from NXPE to secure the series, 2-1.

Blacklist, now with 11 points and a 2-8 standing in sixth place, further sinks away from Omega Esports clinging in the seventh place via 3-6 standing, while NXPE goes down to 4-5 with 12 points in fifth place.

Blacklist will meet Echo once again on Sunday, at 6:00 PM while NXP looks forward to ending their losing streak against Bren also on Sunday at 8:00 PM.
