Despite a decrease in percentage ratings, Broadcast journalist and television personality Raffy Tulfo prevail as the top senatorial bet for the 2022 elections as he leads the March Pulse Asia pre-election survey.

In a report released on Wednesday, April 6, Tulfo gained 65.6% of the respondents which is more than half of the total voters surveyed expressing his high statistical chance of winning the elections.

Tulfo’s current rating is lower by 1.3 points than the reported percent rating in February by the same survey which is 66.9%.

Despite the decrease, he remained the rank 1 among senatorial aspirants followed by Antique Representative Loren Legarda with 58.3%, and Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano with 56.5% of the respondents.

The said survey conducted from March 17 to 21 also suggests the possible winning candidates for the senatorial race are Sorsogon Gov. Francis “Chis” Escudero, Former public works and highways Sec. Mark Villar, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, Sen. Joel Villanueva, and Actor Robin Padilla.

Moreover, Former Vice President Jejomar Binay, Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, Former Sen. JV Ejercito, Sen. Risa Hontiveros, and Former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista reaches the top senate bet cutt-off.

A complete elected senatorial board consists of 12 candidates which 58% of the total respondents of 2,400 already have in mind, Pulse Asia added.

Seeing the result of the survey, Luke Espiritu, a senatorial hopeful from the Partidong Lakas ng Masa observed the engagement of Filipinos being open to platforms.

“Sinasalamin ng survey ang ang nakikita natin sa pag-iikot sa mga komunidad sa buong bansa. Sawa na ang mga Pilipino sa mga trapo at elitista, at uhaw sila sa pag-unlad ng kanilang mga kabuhayan sa pagwawakas ng kontraktwalisasyon at pagtataas ng sahod,” Espiritu stated.
