Despite plummeting to 64% from the previous 75%, Duterte still retains a greater satisfaction rating than other top executive officials.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. obtained 50%, Senate President Chiz Escudero with 48%, House Speaker Martin Romualdez with 34%, and Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo gained 25% of approval ratings.

The decrease in the trust numbers may be an indicator of the waning public satisfaction of Duterte, according to Oculum Research Head, Racidon Bernarte.

“The significant drop suggests that the public approval of the performance of Vice President is waning,” Bernante stated.

Duterte also experienced a drop on her trust ratings, garnering only 68% from her previous 75%.

She has been an outspoken critic of the Marcos administration, even resigned from her post as Secretary of Education and took questionable stances on key issues.

She was silent on the harassment of China in the West Philippine Sea and questioned the arrest of controversial pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
