Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque spent his weekend by diving trip off Boracay after lashing out the government critics by telling them “manigas kayong lahat.”

A video shared by DiveGurus Boracay showed that Roque took a dive at Friday’s Reef at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last October, Roque encouraged the public to visit Boracay Island to help jumsptart its economy. He swam too far from the shoreline and escorted by a lifeguard.

Roque's latest trip came a day after he lashed out at critics of President Rodrigo Duterte and boasted the Mega Manila Subway project during the arrival of the first cutter head for the boring machine for underground drilling.

“Let today’s event be recorded in the annals of Philippine history as another first of the Duterte administration and to his critics, I have only this to say: Manigas kayong lahat!” Roque said.

The Mega Manila Subway project was initially targeted to start partial operations by the fourth quarter of this year. The government in 2018 signed a ¥104.530-billion (around P51 billion) loan deal with the Japan International Cooperation Committee (JICA) to finance the first phase of the subway project.
