League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift together with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, will be featured at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games that will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam from November 21 to December 2, 2021.

For the first time, esports will be included at the 31st SEA Games, with returning titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and all-new games like League of Legends and Cross Fire. According to a report, the complete list of games is as follows:
1.Arena of Valor (Mobile)
2.PUBG Mobile – Team
3.PUBG Mobile – Individual
4.FreeFire (Mobile)
5.League of Legends (PC)
6.League of Legends: Wild Rift (Men and Women’s)
7.FIFA Online 4 (PC)
8.Cross Fire (PC)
9.Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Mobile)

Players from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam will compete in 40 highlighted sports of the 31st SEA Games. The Rach Chief Sports Complex will host the event on November 21, 2021.

At the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, Team SIBOL, which were the Philippines National E- sports team, reigned supreme in three out of the six E-sports events held in the Filoil Flying V Center at San Juan Manila. These games are Dota 2, StarCraft II and Mobile Legends.

On the other hand, Thailand brought home gold medals in Tekken 7 and Arena of Valor while Malaysia took the gold for Hearthstone.

The Philippines bagged the overall champion title for the esports competition. Moreover, the upcoming SEA Games will not include Dota 2, Starcraft II, Hearthstone, and Tekken unlike in 2019.
