Malacañang on Monday dismissed any thoughts of health concerns on President Rodrigo Duterte's part after it cleared that the controversial 'out of balance' issue last Independence Day is nothing to worry about.

In an address, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque affirmed that it was just a 'simple misstep' considering that Duterte is 'turning on the podium' in an event held in Malolos Capitol grounds.

“Medyo na out of balance lang po, wala pong problema sa kalusugan,” Roque assured as talks regarding the president's health have been prevalent yet again.

According to GMA News, Duterte's presence in Malolos last Independence Day has only been his second appearance in celebration of that day since he took office last 2016.

This second time, however, is also when 12 youth activists in the province were barred from going home through their rented jeepney.

As per the Students and Teachers Alliance for the Advancement of National Democracy-Bulacan State University, the police and military charged them violating the 'out of line' and 'traffic rules' which the activists have long denied.

The incident happened right after their protest action in a nearby area that tackled Duterte's 'treachery' to the Filipinos with his continuous support in the US-China 'imperialism.'
