Nas Daily removes ‘Whang-Od Academy’ after granddaughter calls program ‘a scam’

After backlash from tattoo master Apo Whang-Od’s granddaughter, content creator and founder of Nas Daily Nuseir Yassin removed its online course on Whang-Od’s traditional tattoo practice.

Yassin removed Facebook posts related to Whang Od Academy but has not addressed the issue regarding the online course.

Earlier, a Facebook post by Gracia Palicas, granddaughter of Whang-Od, bared that her grandmother did not sign any contract nor understood the translators.

“I spoke to her and she said she did not understand what the translators were saying. [I] am sorry to tell you she will not be joining the @nasdaily,” Palicas stated.

Palicas also called Whang Od Academy a “scam” and asked to stop the disrespect to Whang Od and Butbot Tribe.
