As several complaints were filed due to the alleged violation of COVID-19 health protocols, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque snubbed all of them, saying that all of them will be dismissed as he did not violate any health protocols.

“Lahat po ng ginawa ko ay sang-ayon sa prevailing quarantine classifications. Magsampa na po kayo ng ibang reklamo dahil madi-dismiss lang ‘yan,” Roque said in a press briefing.

Pinoy Aksyon, a watchdog group, slammed complaints after Roque reportedly violated health protocols and quarantine restrictions during his trips to Subic, Zambales, Cebu, and Boracay.

Roque trended in July 2020 after he was seen “hanging out” with the dolphins in a marine park amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. He then apologized and said that he followed all safety protocols.

He then earned backlash in November 2020 after attending an event in Cebu in which a crowd of attendees allegedly violated safety protocols after not following social distancing.
Roque also apologized, and said that he continued to remind the attendees to follow all safety protocols.

Earlier this year, he was also seen in Boracay after a scuba diving school posted photos with him in it. Roque was also exposed to COVID-19 after his return to Manila as a staff member tested positive.
