Margielyn Didal got the job done as she finished 18th overall to amass Paris Olympic points in the World Street Skateboard Championships in Rome, Italy.

The Tokyo Olympian recorded 37.95 points in the Open qualifiers, enough to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

Didal had 43.79 in the quarters but she fell short to make it to the semis.

The Asian Games gold medalist finished at No. 18 in the competition and earned qualifying points for the upcoming Summer Olympics in France slated for 2024.

The Paris Olympics will be more possible for Didal if she earns more points in the upcoming competitions that were sanctioned by World Skate from June this year until June 2024.

If Didal qualified for the Paris Olympics, that would be her second olympic appearance and she will have another shot for a podium finish after a not-so-good ending in Tokyo.

The 2020 Olympian wounded up at seventh place in the skateboarding finals of the last edition of the quadrennial meet.
