Ever randomly decided to build a roller coaster in your backyard? How about a backyard beach? A rocket to the moon? All for killing a hundred and four days of summer before school starts? The two brothers, Phineas and Ferb, did!

Their summer has never been normal especially if you have an older sister, Candace, who always had the desire to bust them to their mom. This series also follows the crazy shenanigans of an evil scientist, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, in his dream of ruling over the Tri-state Area but is constantly prevented by Phineas and Ferb’s unusual platypus pet named Perry, who is a secret agent!

This series has received love all over the globe — from the characters up to the original songs and plot twists. After airing from 2008-2015 with 189 episodes, the creators, Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh agreed with Disney to have a revival with 40 more episodes.

“It has been the greatest pleasure of my career to see how an entire generation of kids and parents have embraced the characters and the humor of Phineas and Ferb,” Povenmire said in a news release. “I’m eagerly looking forward to diving back into the show for them and for a whole new generation,” he said.

This good news to all children who grew up with Phineas and Ferb was announced on January 14th, Friday. Povenmire also announced this exciting news to his Tiktok Community with the hashtag: #morephineasandferb

This agreement also included a deal from Povenmire to Disney to give his recent show, Hamster & Gretel a second season and more episodes for Milo Murphy’s Law. Because of that, Phineas and Ferb will now be produced by Disney Branded Television, a division of the company whose shows currently appear on Disney Channel, Disney Plus, Disney Junior, and Disney XD. Details of release on when and where have not been announced yet but then-kids who are now in their 20s are delighted to look forward to these promised new episodes!
