Despite being relegated to a non-championship round, the Philippine team poised a five-game winning streak to snap their short-handed defeats against Israel and Puerto Rico.

Filipino midfielder Chase LaDrido surprisingly made his remarkable feat by netting two goals in second and fourth period to lead his country for a decent placement in the Championships.

Meanwhile, Goalkeeper Dan Morris registered 10 saves off 16 shot attempts coming from the Mexican side just to sustain the Philippines' defensive effort.

This is the second consecutive World Cup appearance for the Philippines, in which they placed 10th last edition.

Overall, the Nationals garnered a record of five wins and two losses after the tournament.
